NC State Science & Agriculture Scholarship
Distributions from the NC State Science & Agriculture Scholarship will be used to provide need-based scholarships to students pursuing an undergraduate degree. Preference will be given as follows:
- First preference will be given to students who graduated from West Rowan High School who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Agriculture Life and Sciences, College of Engineering, or the College of Sciences.
- Second preference will be given to students who graduated from West Rowan High School who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in any college or unit.
- Third preference will be given to students who graduated from Jesse C. Carson High School or South Rowan High School who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Agriculture Life and Sciences, College of Engineering, or the College of Sciences.
- Fourth preference will be given to students who graduated from Jesse C. Carson High School or South Rowan High School who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in any college or unit.
Condition
-Demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA (apply by the University priority deadline annually)
-Must maintain full time enrollments of at least 12 credit hours per semester
-Remain in an undergraduate program pursuing your first degree
-Maintain satisfactory academic progress (https://studentservices.ncsu.edu/your-degree/academic-progress/)
-Receipt of a major university award may impact eligibility for this award
-Total financial aid, including this scholarship and any "outside “award, may not exceed the cost of attendance
