Tate Family Scholarship

Charles L. Tate Scholarship Mr. Charles L. Tate, Jr., a 1964 alumnus of NC State in Soil Science and Forest Management, established the scholarship in 1999 in memory of his father. The scholarship is intended for transfer students from Sandhills Community College, who demonstrate high academic merit and financial need.

Eligibility Requirements:
-Demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA
-Maintain full time enrollment of at least 12 credit hours per semester
-Maintain satisfactory academic progress
-You may not be eligible to receive another major University award in conjunction with this award
-Your total awards including the scholarship cannot exceed the cost of attendance
