A. M. Fountain Award

The A.M. Fountain Scholarship honors the memory of Dr. Alvin M. Fountain, a member of the English Department for many years and author of the NCSU alma mater. The scholarship is available to sophomore, junior or senior students and is awarded based on academic merit with North Carolina native residency as a secondary consideration. The recipient must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 overall and a minimum 3.0 in the major. The award is renewable upon re-application so long as progress is being made toward a degree as determined by the Undergraduate Studies Committee. Your Pack Assist application must include a writing sample.
