Dr. Gerald F. "Jerry" Watson Scholarship

Merit scholarship for undergraduate students within the College of Sciences who demonstrate ability and passion for the atmospheric sciences, traits that Dr. Watson exhibited throughout his life. Preference shall be given to students with leadership and academic achievements. Awards shall be for one academic year and will be presented to one or more students in the spring of each recipient’s junior year. If there is appropriate candidate pool, then the consideration may include sophomores. College of Sciences.
