Jack and Delanie Winchester Scholarship

The Jack C. and DeLanie Winchester Memorial Scholarship is a need-based merit award established by Ronnie Thompson. Jack Winchester graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1929 and was one of five brothers to attend North Carolina State University.
Requirements

  • Demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA
  • Must maintain full time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours per semester)
  • Remain in an undergraduate program pursuing first undergraduate degree
  • Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
    Conditions
  • Receipt of a major university award may impact eligibility for this award
  • Total financial aid, including this scholarship and any “outside” awards, may not exceed the cost of attendance
  • Recipients meeting the requirements listed above, will be given priority consideration for funding for the next academic year
