Glaxo Women in Science Scholarship

Distributions from the Fund will be used to provide merit-based scholarship for undergraduate students in College of Sciences. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated outstanding scholarship and an interest in advancing women entering the science profession. Additional preference will be given as follows:
a) First preference will be given to first-year students who have expressed a strong interest in science and who will likely be eligible for the award during their sophomore and subsequent years.
b) Second preference will be given to sophomore students.
c) Third preference will be given to junior and senior students who have previously received the scholarship.
Awards will be determined by the Dean of College of Sciences, or their designee in accordance with established procedures. Awards will be for one academic year and may be renewable based on specific criteria being met, including maintaining a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
