David & Adele Heffner Lombardi Scholarship

This award will support DVM students entering their first year of veterinary school. Awards shall be made by the CVM Scholarship Committee in accordance with the established procedures, with criteria as follows: (1) Longtime NC residents from rural and/or economically depressed counties (preference of no Mecklenburg, Wake, or Durham counties); (2) Graduate of one of the 17 schools in the UNC system; (3) Preference to students who volunteer/help in the community; (4) Available to students in all areas of veterinary interest.
