Joseph and Donna Hightower CALS and CNR Scholarship Endowment

Distributions from the Fund will support undergraduate scholarships for students in any curriculum in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences or in the Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences curriculum in the College of Natural Resources. Uses may include, but are not limited to, tuition, fees and books.

First preference will be given to students who are residents of Ashe and Person counties in North Carolina. If there are no eligible students from those counties, priority will be given to students from Tier 1, then Tier 2 counties (or their future equivalents, i.e., under­ resourced counties). Awards will be for four academic years and may be renewable based on specific criteria being met; the recipient will be informed of the criteria when the award is made.
