William Hutchins (Billy) Smith, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 1993 in memory of William Hutchins Smith, Jr., a 1950 alumnus of NC State University and his parents, Gladys Milliken Smith and W.H. Smith, Sr. This award was made possible by Mr. Smith Jr,’s children, Martha B. Jeffreys and William H. Smith, III.

Eligibility Requirements:
-Maintain full time enrollment of at least 12 credit hours per semester
-Maintain satisfactory academic progress Progress (https://studentservices.ncsu.edu/your-degree/academic-progress/)
-Maintain a 3.000 cumlative GPA
-Remain in an undergraduate program pursuing your first degree

-Receipt of a major university award may impact eligibility for this award
-Total financial aid, including this scholarship and any"outside"award, may not exceed the cost of attendance
