Linde Natural Resources Scholarship

Distributions from the Fund will be used to provide merit-based scholarships for current and/or incoming students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Natural Resources. Recipients should demonstrate an expressed interest in climate change, climate and environmental sustainability through internships, undergraduate research, work experience, career aspirations, co-curricular experiences and/or by pursuing areas of study including, but not limited to, environmental sciences; paper science and engineering; environmental technology and management; fisheries, wildlife and conservation biology; forest management; natural resources and/or sustainable materials and technology. Preference will be given to students who meet one or more of the following criteria, with greater preference given to students who meet a greater number of the criteria; a)Students with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. b) Students participating in activities and programs that support historically marginalized communities in technical fields. c) Students who are US citizens or permanent residents. Donor’s preference is to provide awards of approximately $5,000 for 9 students each academic year as funding allows.
