Samuel James Ellen, Jr. Family Scholarship

To provide scholarships for students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering. First preference will be given to students who reside in Nash County. Second preference will be given to students who reside in Tier 1 or Tier 2 counties in eastern North Carolina (or their future equivalents, i.e. under-resourced counties). Awards will be determined by the Dean of the College of Engineering, or their designee, in accordance with the established procedures for awarding need-based scholarships.
