Sandy & Jeff Alford Scholarship

Awards will support DVM students who are North Carolina residents and who graduated from a school in the University of North Carolina system, as determined by the Dean of the College, or his or her designee, according to the standard procedure for making need-based awards. Preference given to students from Wilkes County in NC, with secondary preference for those from other rural and/or economically distressed counties. The donors also wish to recognize and support students who have volunteered with, or in other ways supported, animal rescue or shelter medicine in their communities. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
