John R. Jones Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of John R. Jones, a 1950 graduate of NC State University. The scholarship is intended for residents of either Surry County or Stokes County.

Eligibilty Requirements:
-Must be a permanent resident of either Surry County or Stokes County
- Maintain full time enrollment of at least 12 credit hours per semester
-Maintain satisfactory academic progress
-Remain in an undergraduate program pursuing your first degree
-You may not be eligible to receive another major University award in conjunction with this award
-Your total awards including the scholarship cannot exceed the cost of attendance
-Demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA
-Maintain a 2.500 cumulative GPA
