George Pliny Wood Extraordinary Opportunity Scholarship

Distributions from the Fund will be used to provide need-based scholarships for undergraduate students at NC State University who qualify for need-based scholarship assistance defined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Preference will be given to students who are North Carolina residents. Awards will be determined by the Director of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, or their designee, in accordance with the established procedures for awarding scholarships. Awards will be for one academic year and may be renewable regardless of financial need; the recipient will be informed of the criteria when the award is made.
