Troan Scholarship for Computer Science

To provide scholarships for students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, including first-year students intending to major in Computer Science. Preference will be given to students who meet one or more of the following criteria, with greater preference given to students who meet a greater number of the criteria:

a) Students who are from the first generation in their family to attend college.
b) Students who reside in counties designated as Tier 1 by the North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center. If no students meet this preference, second preference shall be given to students who reside in counties designated as Tier 2 by the North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center.
