To provide scholarships for students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Preference will be given to students who reside in rural North Carolina counties as determined by the North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center, currently defined as Tier 1 and Tier 2 counties.
