Deaton-Vereen Family Honorary Scholarship

Distributions from the Fund will be used to provide need-based scholarships for undergraduate students. Preference will be given to students who reside in Brunswick County, North Carolina. Awards will be determined by the Director of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, or their designee, in accordance with the established procedures for awarding need-
based scholarships. Awards will be for one academic year and may be renewable if funds are available regardless of financial need, and based on specific criteria being met; the recipient will be informed of the criteria when the award is made.
