Louis B. Hoffman Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 1997 by Mr. Louis B. Hoffman, a 1948 alumnus of NC State in Mechanical Engineering. The scholarship is intended for Guilford County residents who demonstrate high academic merit. We are delighted to recognize your academic accomplishment with this distinguished award and wish you success in your studies at NC State University.

Eligibility Requirements:
-Must be a resident of Guilford County
-Must maintain full time enrollments of at least 12 credit hours per semester
-Remain in an undergraduate program pursuing your first degree
-Maintain a 3.000 cumulative GPA

-Receipt of a major university award may impact eligibility for this award
-Total financial aid, including this scholarship and any"outside"award, may not exceed the cost of attendance
