Larry & Brenda Francis Scholarship Endowment

Provides scholarships for undergraduate students majoring in any College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) degree with a minor in Agricultural Business Management or completing a minimum of 3 business-related courses. The courses include, but are not limited to: Entrepreneurship; Economics; Ag Business Management; Agribusiness Marketing or other related course. Students must be participants in rural student access initiatives through the Farm-to-Philanthropy program in CALS; including ASPIRE, STEAM Spring Connect, “pay-it-forward” service learning opportunities.

FIRST PREFERENCE given to students from Harnett County, NC. SECOND PREFERENCE given to students from North Carolina counties classified as Tier 1. Awards will be for one academic year and may be renewable if the recipient maintains satisfactory academic progress.
