Connie Lee Altman Memorial Scholarship

Provides scholarships for full-time students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS) who have overcome challenges such as disabilities.

Preferences will be given as follows:
a) First preference will be given to those who are majoring in English;
b) Second preference will be given to those who are minoring in Journalism;
c) Third preference will be given to those who have a major in Art Studies with a concentration in Music.

Awards will be determined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, or their designee, in accordance with the established procedures for awarding scholarships. Students will be verified through the Disability Resource Office. Awards will be for one academic year and may be renewable based on satisfactory academic progress and continued pursuit of a qualifying major in CHASS.
