Need-based scholarship for students in an undergraduate program in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS).

Preference given to students who meet one or more of the following:
A) US citizen or permanent resident
B) In their first year at NC State
C) Pursuing careers in farming or working with farmers
D) Preference to the following degree programs:
i) First preference to students enrolled in Crop and Soil Sciences;
ii) Second preference to students enrolled in Horticulture Science; and
iii) Third preference to students who are enrolled in other plant breeding fields (either or traditional or biotechnological plant breeding) relating to food, fiber, tobacco and/or oil crops.
