Mullican Family Scholarship Endowment

Distributions from the Fund will be used to provide need-based scholarships for undergraduate students. Preference will be given to students who meet one or more of the following criteria, with greater preference given to students who meet a greater number of the criteria:
a) Students who are employed full-time or part-time while enrolled at NC State.
b) Students who are enrolled part-time at NC State.
c) Students who graduated from high school a minimum of two years prior to enrollment at NC State.
d) Students who are from the first generation in their family to attend college.
e) Students who are financially independent from their parents.
f) Students who are current or former service members of the US Armed Forces.

Awards will be determined by the Director of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, or their designee, in accordance with the established procedures for awarding need-based scholarships. Awards will be for one academic year and may be renewable regardless of financial need, and based on the recipient maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress.
