Mathews Family Extraordinary Opportunity Scholarship

Distributions from the Fund will be used to provide need-based scholarships for students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Engineering. Preference will be given to students who are North Carolina residents.

Awards will be determined by the Director of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, or their designee, in accordance with the established procedures for awarding need-based scholarships. Awards will be for one academic year and may be renewable regardless of financial need; the recipient must maintain satisfactory academic progress.
