Thomas E. "Tom" Mease and Steven A. Wilson Family Scholarship

Distributions from the Fund will be used to provide need-based scholarships for incoming first-year students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Sciences and/or in non-production agricultural and life sciences in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (“CALS”).

Preference will be given to students who meet one or more of the following criteria, with greater preference given to students who meet a greater number of the criteria:
a) Students who have demonstrated experience living or working in historically underserved or marginalized populations.
b) Students who are from the first generation in their family to attend college.

Awards will be determined by the Director of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, or their designee, in accordance with the established procedures for awarding need-based scholarships. Awards will be for one academic year and may be renewable regardless of financial need, and the recipient must maintain satisfactory academic progress.
