James and Tina Smith Scholarship

Provide scholarship for undergraduate students with priority given to students as follows:
a) First preference to student who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Engineering and who are residents of Alleghany County, North Carolina;
b) Second preference to students who are residents of Alleghany County, North Carolina; and
c) Third preference to students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Engineering.

Awards will be determined by the Director of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, or their designee, in accordance with the established procedures for awarding scholarships. Awards will be for one academic year and may be renewable based the recipient maintaining satisfactory academic progress.
