Lanning-Green Military Scholarship

Used to provide merit and need-based scholarships for students pursuing any undergraduate degree at NC State. Preference will be given to students who are current or former service members of the US Armed Forces. Awards will be for one academic year and may be renewable regardless of financial need and based on specific criteria being met.

Requirements

• Maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA
• Maintain full-time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours per semester)
• Remain in an undergraduate program pursuing first degree
• Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
• Continue in the same major/minor if required for the scholarship
• Continue to demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA if required for the scholarship
• Continue to demonstrate a specific residency if required for the scholarship

Conditions

• Receipt of a major university award may impact eligibility for this award
• Total financial aid, including this scholarship and any “outside” awards, may not exceed the cost of attendance
• Recipients meeting the requirements listed above are given priority consideration for funding for the next academic year
