Ann Bumgardner and Myrtle Bumgardner Scholarship

Awards from this endowment shall be made to juniors and/or seniors who are promising students enrolled in the Department of Chemistry. The scholarship is to be made to promising students who show a genuine interest in the chemistry discipline through participation in activities such as research, creative problem solving, tutoring, and/or overcoming academic challenges and not solely on GPA. First preference for residents of Gaston County, NC. Second preference for residents of Ontario, Canada. Awards shall be be for one academic year and may be renewable based on availability of funding and specific criteria being met. College of Sciences
